Sacramento River Striped Bass Fishing Report 02/26/24 “The good news is…”

….Northern California anglers have been blessed with a second consecutive year with a abundance of water storage. What does this mean for striper fishermen? It means, tighten down your drag and hold on. This season should be much like last season. Full of striper action from start to finish. Fishing on the Sacramento and Feather Rivers should be nothing short of exceptional. Much like last season was for NorCal anglers. Giving local anglers a chance to get back on their local rivers and do some much needed fishing. After spending the entire salmon season sidelined from this years salmon closure in California. The upcoming spring striper run can’t come soon enough.

Anglers can expect striped bass to start showing up during the full moon in March. Like clockwork these stripers will arrive in the Sacramento and Feather rivers with little to no delay.
